The heart of this handy auto is the CPM 145 powdered metallurgy drop point blade. This unique alloy has a more even distribution of carbides for superior edge retention, corrosion resistance, and an altogether tougher blade. It’s finished in a black DLC finish for better blade protection and the contoured, anodized aluminum handles mean the Launch 3 is lightweight, and fits comfortably in the hand. Activated by a low profile push button, the Launch 3 is hard to activate accidentally, but is ready in a flash when you need it.
